Tokyo Walking 12 東京ウォーキング

Throwback Thursday: There are often international festivals and fairs in and around Yoyogi Park around the year, but in summer there’s basically one every weekend. They range from national and regional areas selling food and goods from their respective nations to organizations promoting environmentally-friendly lifestyles. The nearby NHK headquarters also has some festivities on occasion, sometimes with a giant Domo-kun present (sorry, kids only!). In this case, all the photos were taken during Golden Week (a series of mostly consecutive national holidays, enabling people to take longer vacations than they normally would).

Welcome to the second installment of Tokyo Walking “Those That Were Left Behind”!

All photos were taken on May 4th and 5th 2011, in Shibuya.
